FAMILY: cousins comin' to town

These girly girls and their fun-loving on-the-run cousin will have many great memories together. I love the special relationships that cousins have--it's amazing-you could live miles apart from your cousins and see each other only a few times a year, but those few times are often the highlights of your year. I loved that although these cousins are long distance, there was no warm-up time needed--they played and laughed and truly enjoyed each others' company.

P.S. Does the cute blond look familiar? :) This second time around, he was less afraid that I might be the babysitter and that mommy would leave any minute.

Cousins, aunt, and grandma

Mom organized a photo shoot for 3 generations of women in this family. You could tell they are a close knit family from their interactions and I always love watching kids show so much love to a new baby cousin.

Something in the water

The joke is that there must have been something in the water because all these girls are cousins from two sisters. Four girls from one mom and three from the other. They love each other like only sisters can. It was a pleasure to photograph this close friend's family.

The Cousins

We finally managed to get it together to do a "cousins" shoot and I'm hoping that we didn't traumatize the kids to the point of no return. Just imagine 4 parents and one grandma encouraging (more like screaming) at the kids to smile, to stay still, to look here, no! look there. There are definitely bloopers from this shoot.
