MATERNITY and NEWBORN: Baby Boy and his Polka Dot Blankie

Our very dear friends welcomed a new addition in January and I got to be the lucky photographer to document their journey. This easygoing couple will certainly give their new baby a wonderful home. We also sadly bid farewell to their beloved dog, Kody. Thankfully, Kody was able to meet the baby although I did not make it in time to capture it. Baby is one month old in these pictures and slept peacefully for his first photo shoot.

A Day in the Park

This was a really fun session that I shot with my friend, Wei. It was sort of a post-engagement session/pet session/family session. Husband and wife were so much fun! Half the time, I think Wei and were just experimenting and they would just follow our lead.

Doggie had a blast--this was one of the few "formal" portraits that we got that day--thanks Wei for capturing this great portrait! That puppy loved you!

Pets Are People

I am usually a people photographer, but when dogs are as fun-loving as these two, they're pretty much people. This session was for a good friend, Lilian, who graciously became my CMO (Chief Marketing Officer). I hadn't even done a session for her and she's referred numerous clients to me. Thanks for all the business, Lil. And if anyone is looking for a graphic designer, check out her stuff!

Man's (and woman's) best friend

Who else, but this sweet, sweet dog? This is the calmest, most obedient dog EVER. In fact, I challenge you to introduce me to a nicer, prettier dog, that photographs THIS well. :)

Our whole family is infatuated with her.

Sunny in the sun

I'm not much of a pet person, but she's like family to us. This is my cousin's (maybe it's more my aunt's) dog. Such a fun-loving, people person. We took her for a walk and a mini photo shoot and she couldn't have been happier...until my uncle and aunt started playing with my baby. Then the jealousy came out, but just for a bit. Soon, Sunny was back to her cheerful self.
