It's been so long since I've been around that I'm feeling rusty on how to post to my blog. I've got lots to share but want to get my clients' galleries up so they can order for the holidays and I've got a two year old trying to "help" me at the computer while playing beauty salon with my hair. :)
Here's a session to share: a preppy young man who's all ready for the cold weather!
I can't believe Thanksgiving is in less than a week--I LOVE everything about Thanksgiving, including the time that I get to spend with my extended family and all the food. Along with the holidays, there's lots of non-photography stuff that happens around here (picking a tree, putting together our Christmas card, school parties, etc.) so please bear with me while I (slowly) update my blog.
Here is a fun family that I recently photographed. They remind me of my childhood as I also grew up with 3 other siblings and the house was never quiet. Super sweet bunch and they all got into the mood (of taking pictures). :)
Who ever heard of such a thing? When Dad started bringing out ALL his USC gear, I knew I was in trouble. My husband and I are staunch Cal fans and I felt like I was betraying my alma mater.
Okay, I lie. I have no idea who has a better team...but I do know this little baby boy is going to be a huge USC fan and I'm just going to have to brush up on my college football knowledge so I can properly prepare my kids when we run into this family at parties. :)
Super sweet family! You would never guess that this was their first baby as they pretty much allowed me to put baby anywhere!

Mom loves clothes (can you tell?) But her daughter is quickly developing her own style and taste. Dad better watch out for the boys (while Mom will need to hold onto her wallet). :) Thanks for always letting me experiment with Miss K. I've been shooting this family long before I knew I would be making money as a photographer. Mom has always been one of my biggest supporters. Thank you!

Proof that I know what is involved in getting three kids dressed and ready for a photo shoot. And trust me, there was sweat and tears involved and the little one's hair still looked like it went through a hurricane. I was fortunate enough to have a second adult with me (the talented Miss. Pei) but at some point, I had to choose between my baby or my other baby. Ended up putting the camera away so she could rock climb.
